Hi, I've got a new cable for my hand throttle. Can anyone describe what the fitting is at the engine side. I've just got a a bare cable with no termination. Will just any sort of clamp work? |

Google screw on cable nipples. You should find something to fit. Graeme |

.. thanks. And what route does the cable take? Mine seems to head through the heater mechanism |

Not sure as I have not got a hand throttle. I would not have thought it would make much difference. Graeme |

Oh .... and I thought you were giving expert well informed advice. I've fitted it now £1.20 for the screw cable nipple. Nearly £50 for the Iveco cable. I passed the cable between the hose and heater, I don't think it will snag. I fitted it to give extra revs when winching and using the air compressor. (I can't adjust my idle screw so it might be useful if that is a problem.). I'd already got the handle and throttle fittings and a sawn off piece of cable. Thanks |
