Hi, I've got a new cable for my hand throttle. Can anyone describe what the fitting is at the engine side. I've just got a a bare cable with no termination.
Will just any sort of clamp work?

Google screw on cable nipples. You should find something to fit.

.. thanks.
And what route does the cable take? Mine seems to head through the heater mechanism

Not sure as I have not got a hand throttle. I would not have thought it would make much difference.

Oh .... and I thought you were giving expert well informed advice. ;)
I've fitted it now £1.20 for the screw cable nipple. Nearly £50 for the Iveco cable.
I passed the cable between the hose and heater, I don't think it will snag.

I fitted it to give extra revs when winching and using the air compressor. (I can't adjust my idle screw so it might be useful if that is a problem.). I'd already got the handle and throttle fittings and a sawn off piece of cable.
Thanks
