Front brake disc replacement

Hello!

So we have a 49C10 minibus, X reg, 2000. I bought some brake discs a while back for the MoT but they were never fitted since the MoT place said it just needed the pads for now.

I'd like to fit them just for piece of mind, and so they're not kicking about the house! Trouble is, I don't think they'll fit. The current discs have 8 bolts which bolt the disc to the hub (As far as I can work out), and the new ones have 6 but are in every other way the same.

Am I right in thinking these centre bolts do more than just holding the little cap on, and do indeed hold the disc/wheel on and there's not a chance a 6 bolt disc will fit?

I haven't tried replacing them yet, since if they're not going to fit I'd rather keep them clean and sell them seeing as they're not cheap!!

Thanks, Jack

So I contacted VEXI also, they say it should be fitted with a 6 bolt hub (and showed me the price for discs which was far less than what I paid for them :( ).

I thought maybe they've been retrofitted with different ones but the back is the same (8 bolt hub not 6). Have a feeling it may be easier to buy 2 new hubs that'll fit the van.

Is it usual for these vans to be made from different parts from the factory?
