Head gasket leak; Coolant leak & white smoke

Hi, with the engine running i'm seeing a constant slow drip from my overflow pipe that runs from the header tank & the inside of the tank has a dirty discolouration. There is also a cloud of whitish smoke on startup that disappears after about 3 mins of running, after looking around the net it sounds like my head gasket is leaking so I want to try the head gasket fix by "Bar's Leaks".
My question, they say that you pour it directly into the radiator but as there is no filler cap on the daily should I open the bottom hose to drop the coolant from the radiator, reconnect then open the top hose & fill from the top of the radiator then top up with coolant in the expansion tank???
Any info is welcome, anyone have any idea where to buy this in Europe? I've emailed them but not received a reply yet... (i'm in Stockholm, Sweden).
Cheers,
John.

Hi,

I'd personally use K seal for an engine leak. Tried others and I don't think they work so well. Whichever you choose put it into the expansion tank and run until it's reached operating temperature for 10 mins. Had to do this the other day on ours (couldn't find where it was leaking from!), a small bottle of K seal seems to have fixed it!
