Hello chaps any help would be good. I have a camper conversion based on a Iveco daily 59-12 CN: ZCFC5980002123561 and I'm struggling to get brake shoes, fitting kits and even the cylinders seem over priced. My local Iveco have quoted..... wait for it .......£2500 for the shoes alone or £271 for the linings which I'm not sure anyone re-lines shoes anymore??? Can anyone help with supply of older parts?? the shoes are 100mm wide and 312mm dia. If anyone can help please call me 07778515242 before I slit my wrists. Craig |

Graeme Thanks for the advice I have done as you suggest but I'm now stuck trying to find the fitting kit. I'm getting the shoes reclined for £20 a piece which i can live with going to order the cylinders you have kindly sent the link to, but the spring kit is not available from iveco either and i can find it anywhere. Any further help would be great. Craig Just to add.... there are only a few parts/springs I need not the whole lot. I have added a picture of the bits I need. Actually I can upload as the file is too big Edited by Craigmac03, Jun 27 2017, 04:27 PM.

Got my cyl of ebay £20 for 2 shoes not to expensive either, mind if you have the axle where the hub has to come of you will require a crv 90 mm socket and a torque bar to pull it back up to 490 newton meters as there loaded hub bearings with spacer between and not set slack like cars. The socket will set you back £100 but try and borrow a torque bar as the expensive. |
