Gearbox oil; curing notchy gear change

Just changed my gearbox oil for Castrol Syntrans Multivehicle 75w-90 fully synthetic MTF 75w-90. I have ony done a few miles but it seems to have improved the notchy gear change...Thanks to who ever it was on what ever forum that recomended it!

Mine was an almost instant improvement using the Tutella fully synth stuff from Iveco.

I'd had it changed at a truck specialist who used the same stuff they do for Iveco and Renault trucks, and over the next year it got progressively worse until I had to go from 1st to 3rd when cold as I couldn't get 2nd, gearbox used the crunch a bit too. Molyslip additive made no different.

But with the correct oil, the gearchange became nice and light with no crunching :) Amazing difference...

Do you mean TUTELA "TECHNYX" GEARBOX OIL 75W85 ?

Just ordered oil for doing mine as it's got so bad lately. Any idea where to get replacement drain and filler plugs? Had a quick look on usual sites but not sure on the size if I get universal ones
