Hi, If, in the fuse panel are pins for relay, in the socket: 25209, and pins for fuse: 40 and 46, then you need only: doors electrical harness, electric window device, control buttons, one relay and one, or two fuses. |

Hi, I have a 35s12 on a 56 plate. I upgraded my manual windows to electric some time ago because I found I had to lean forward too much to wind them down manually (maybe I've got short arms!) Anyway, I removed the door trim to have a look and I found that all the wiring was there for electric windows and mirrors! I tested the wires and they had power too. I found new electric regulators on ebay: Item number: 300499028064 (n/s) Item number: 300448963331 (o/s) These were £75 each plus carriage. I was lucky to find the driver's door double switch also on ebay but had to buy the passenger door switch from Iveco (around £25) Fitting was easy, the trickiest part being cutting the hole for the switch - don't make the mistake I made and assume the oval line on top of the door trim is where you cut it! You have to cut about a quarter inch INSIDE this line or the switch will fall through! When everything was fitted, it all worked without having to fit any fuses or relays. I didn't bother with the electric mirrors, but utilised some of the wires to fit door speakers instead! One more thing - you do need to fit switches on both doors for it all to work properly because they are interconnected. (I suppose it's possible just fitting the off side switch and then altering the wiring in the near side door, but it's not worth the hassle. Hope this helps Mick. |
