has anyone on here uprated the weight on a 35S11? i know the older vans could be uprated by fitting the springs and axles from a heavier van, i have heard that the chassis railthe 35's are made of a thinner guage steel than the bigger ones, does anyone know if this is true?mine's kitted out as a camper van but getting a bit on the heavy side! |

I'm afraid it can't be done...as you say, the chassis is too thin. Even the 35c (twin rear wheel) has a chassis limitation that prevents it being uprated, I think in that case the chassis depth is insufficient. Is there anywhere you can reduce the weight or its the conversion too near to completion for that? |
