Hard to start when hot?

Hi, My 2003 iveco 35s12 will start beautifully when cold. After warming up the injector light starts flashing, the rev counter drops to zero and if I turn it off it's almost impossible to start.
I have changed the camshaft sensor ( I thought IT was the problem) but no joy, Any ideas?

Hi,

Always the rev counter function is linked to the crankshaft sensor, the sensor is defective.

As you look at the engine it's on the left behind the turbo 10mm bolt you can't see it just feel around .and the wire runs around the back of the block into a plug on the right near the top . on the 2.8 TD it's the same part number as camshaft sensor

Hi,

If you can not find the sensor, where eurozulu has told you, means that the engine is 2.3l and the sensor is under high pressure pump (red connector).

Changed the CRANKshaft sensor, (underneath the pump on right hand side) and all going well now.
Thanks folks. Appreciated.
Both sensors are Not transferrable on the 2.3
Camshaft sensor about 25mm 1 inch long.
Crankshaft sensor 40 mm 1 1/2 inch long.
