No Headlights!

Hi, recently my lights on my Daily 35s13 (01) have stopped working.

My side lights and main beam work fine. I changed the bulbs, traced the fuse and removed all connections from the steering column switch and give them a blow out and refitted. Still no joy, the question is? is there a relay switch for the headlights? If so where can I find it? there are several switches in the fuse relay, a 30 amp yellow one has a brown and yellow wire coming out which I think runs to the lights, I am not 100%

Secondly could it be the switch assembly in the column shaft,(indicator stick!) thats at fault?

Hope someone can help,

Regards,

Wez

this fault is usually the column switch .but you should check all the fuses first .

Thanks for that, I actually just stripped the indicator switch assembly out of the column switch as mentioed in the document. The only thing I did'nt do was re-solder the contacts.

I shall try it tomorrow.

Cheers

I can confirm that the soldering on these switches can be a bit iffy.

I'm not an expert with the soldering iron but I've just fixed mine after losing left hand indicator and main beam.

This is the 4th time now for the same thing! The other 3 occasions it was fixed by someone who knew what they were doing
