can the rear door hinges on the vans be repaired or are there aftermarket available the new genuine are a ridiculous price |

My rear doors don't open properly. The hinges seem to be working back to front so the door dosent move away from the body as it starts to open IYSWIM. |

I managed to "fix" 2 out of my 4 broken hinges by taking them off and after steeping in diesal getting the slider bit that controls their opening moving again. It took a bit of time / fiddling and the hinges were a b**lox to get off but saved 2 of them and they have lasted a year since. 3rd generation hinges fit so I got 2 second hand ones to replace the other 2 Steve |
