Hi, Behind the fuse box should be a pair of junction connector with four pins. The male connector comes from sensor and the female connector leads to signal adapter. In that area should be a female connector for bypassing the signal adapter. Joins the bypass connector and try, the speedometer should indicate a higher speed. If dosen't work, then the sensor is faulty or some wires are interrupted to the sensor. If the speedometer indicates the speed, it means that the adapter is faulty. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14168135/002.jpg |

Update Speedo has suddenly decided to work, however, still no rev counter, odometer or clock! Trying vainly to find the rev counter sensor and even with the diagram can't find it. This is fun..... |

Could anyone with a 35-10 post what their DIP switches are set to? I currently have 0-0-0-1-1-0-1-1 but I know the previous owner swapped the clocks along with an engine and gearbox from the 5 ton version, which is why I think mine is out. About 10mph off at 70mph. |

Hi, I have a manual, six pages with dip switch settings for 8 switches. I don't know how to do attachments here so send me your email and I'll send it to you. Its a 2MB pdf file. If anyone has a 10 switch box available then I'd be most interested because with my large tyres and 8 DIP switches I can't it still under reads. |

Have you tried making up numbers beyond what is on the chat to see if that works? The dip switches seem to work on binary, which if you convert to decimal gives you a number. I've converted a few and it is basically the higher the number the bigger the tyre. That chart only goes up to 18500 impulses per kilometer, which gives a decimal value of 168. If you're saying that is too low for your tyres try going higher than that. Try setting your switches to 1-1-0-0-0-1-1-0 and see if that helps any. If this theory works, that should make quite a difference and we can go from there. Let us know how you get on if you haven't already tried this. Edited by Glyn, Jun 23 2015, 08:24 PM.

Hi, recently purchased a camper conversion Daily 35-10 2.8D on a 'P' plate. There's no tacho and the rev counter works fine as far as I can see. The speedo works, after a fashion, but it's a bit like pin the tail on the donkey!! Driving along, most of the time the needle is somewhere between 20mph & 30-35mph at low speed indication seems OK. This is fine, but I doubt it would be an adequate defence for a speeding ticket, especially as I've trammed along in top and the speedo still indicated less than 40mph when I was deifinitely exceeding that. I'm led to believe by the previous owner (a work colleague) who didn't use it much recently, that it was OK as far as he was aware. That said, it's recent MOT while he had it included replacement of the steering bearing, not sure if this is located anywhere near any speedo related wiring or sensors or not. Can anyone shed any light on what to check or what to look for please? TIA Graeme. Edited by GraemeHH, Jul 13 2015, 11:36 AM.

GraemeHh that is exactly the same problem that I have with my camper conversion. Up to about 35mph the speedo reads correctly. Above that speed the speedo stays at about 35mph, no matter how fast I go. I bought my van in April with this problem, but haven't found a solution yet. I use an app on my iPhone as the speedo when I need to drive the van. BTW my van is a 35.10 2.8D on an R plate. Edited by Ralphg, Sep 9 2015, 10:56 AM.
