has anyone seen a swb iveco 2.3 twin wheeler before found one 4 sale looks like ex transco says it 2 and 4 wheel drive as well |

You see them occasionally, if its a 2000 - current model it will not be a 4x4. I assume it is the low roof version as well. It will probably have had a tough life (but then they are tough vans) as these smaller ones are normally bought for their towing capabilities, this is especially the case if it has the 3.0L engine. The 2.3L twin wheeler can tow 3000kg and the 3.0L can tow 3500kg. I don't think any other vans can match this (with the possible exception of the Merc Sprinter) so if they want to tow mini-diggers about they have the choice of an Iveco Daily, a full on 4x4, or a big 7.5 tonner. And some of the 7.5 tonners I've seen used by the utilities have got stickers with a lower towing capacity for off-road work. |
