Rattling Handbrake lever / bracket

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has the same problem as myself. The handbrake lever rattles in the mounting bracket. I can touch it as I'm driving and it goes silent. My van has only covered 52,000 miles so I can't see it being wear and I can't see anything missing.
Any ideas please?

Mine too, I eventually attached some rubber packing (actually a piece of bike inner tube) with superglue, between the mounting and the lever, I also put some synthetic grease in between the housing and the lever, ....... and it worked, it has been quiet for the last couple of years.

Thanks very much for the advice Windy, I can't understand why mine does it as there doesn't appear to be any wear and she's only covered 53,000 miles. Wondering now whether to put some silicone in between and see if that works, just as long as I don't end up glueing the two together lol.
