Hi All, New to this forum as I have just ordered a Daily 4x4 dual cab. I am wondering if through your experience with these vehicles that anyone is aware of an off the shelf snorkel that is available for the current model daily 4x4? |

I will definately post pics when it arrives. We have been waiting for these to arrive over here for the last few years and they are finally here. I sold a fuso canter dual cab with a slide on camper to replace it with the iveco so I cant wait. We have a couple of accessory makers over here that I am sure will be quick to churn out some goodies to compliment the Daily's already extensive ability. |

lucky man ) no info on the snorkels im afraid. the new ones have a solid front axle dont they? i have the older one with torsion bar, wondering if its possible to lift the front a bit because the clearance under the sump guard is... not good... when you expecting it to arrive? im not sure if this is the right model, but euro4x4 are worth checking out http://www.euro4x4parts.com/iveco_parts/massif/3_0_hpt_diesel_intercooled_176_bhp_2008/ |

Ned, the Massif is a 4x4 that bears some resemblance to the Land Rover Defender. |

Sudesh, Hi I have ordered a single cab that I am having converted into a camper by Bocklet in Germany. Another company I was looking at to do the conversion is Exploryx, they do make a snorkle, see link below, but this is probably to order for their customers. They do speak a little English so could be worth dropping them an email. Let me know how you get on I could be interested in one for mine, I really dont like how open the air itake is at the front. I find the design a little strange when they have gone to the trouble of fitting a switch to turn off the fan while you drive through deep water but have the intake scoop right up front! http://www.exploryx.de/Exploryx-Impala-Daily-4x4-IV-Basi.148.0.html |

Hi, I am just placing an order with Ridgeline in Australia for a snorkel for my New Daily 4x4, see:- http://www.ridge-line.com.au/accessories/2-uncategorised/8-iveco-snorkel They also have various other accessories for the 4x4 as well. |

Just fitted one of these Ridgeline snorkels Please note that these have been designed with the long arm mirrors in mind If you have the short arm mirrors on your Daily 4x4, they will come into contact with the snorkel(just!)when you open the door. I have advised Ridgeline of this and they are looking into the mould |

Ok thanks, do you think it is a real problem i.e. will lead to cracking or is it just annoying? Is there any chance of getting a photo showing the contact area etc?

Hey Marcus The touch is minor, and speaking with Kym and Col at Ridgeline, they may be able to slightly modify their mould for the snorkel to accommodate the short arm mirror Have attached image of snorkel but not sure if i have attached it correctly? Cheers Will send another image showing the touch area Edited by MrDaily, Jul 27 2013, 10:20 AM.

Hi, That attached picture worked, thanks. I have received a picture from Ridgeline showing the very small contact and so I am happy to place the order, thanks for the information Mr Daily. Edited by marcustuck, Jul 28 2013, 11:48 AM.

The snorkel is installed on my 4x4 now and there are no clearance issues. In fact there is quite a bit of clearance! The check strapes on my door may be shorter than yours Mr Daily, I can't think of anyother reason. |

Hi Marcus Glad it fits. Do you have short or long arm mirrors? The long arm type will clear the snorkel. The only other thing i can think of would be left or right hand drive. Ours is right hand, and there are differences with the mirrors on each type. I don't think the check straps would be any different? Cheers |
