I have an Daily 35S 12 2.3 hpi that starts fine on initial start up with no smoke at all but after about a mile of driving it starts to blow a lot of blue smoke ( mainly when pulling off after slowing down ) . It stops blowing smoke after about 5 to 7 miles of driving but absolutely stinks of oil . It also takes a while to start when the engine is warm but is fine to start from cold . It also lacks power when loaded or going up hill. Could this be the injectors or something much worse :(. Thanks for any replies. Al. |

Blue smoke = burning oil, could be piston rings, valve seals and or valves, get a compression test done and that'll give you a good idea if that's the case. HTH |
