No power to fuel pump feed when ignition turned on. Fuel pump fuse ok, Edc fuse was blown but replacing it made no difference.Vehicle starts and runs ok but power fades under high load. 35c12 2005 2.3hpi |

If the fuse is ok, get a multimeter/test light and check there's actually power there. If there is power to the fuse, it's just a case of chasing the wiring back down to the pump. |

When you turn the ignition on the pump only runs for a few seconds to prime the system. You may be looking for power after its turned off. When the engine is running the pump will be humming, you will feel it turning. Power fading could also be a worn turbo or air inlet pipe collapsing under load.
