Daily 2004 35s Its been in the garage for 6wks with what was thought was an injector problem ( all 4 with no previous symptoms) the pumps were tested and the injectors have been recond' at £80 each, the engine now runs but cuts out after a couple of dips of the accelerator. would the immobilizer allow the engine to start and then cut out? Oh and Hi I'm new, and a little stressed about this one as I have just finished a self build camper with said Iveco.

Hi, The fuel system may be clogged, which mean: obstructed pipes, clogged filters, faulty fuel pump, etc. ... or the fuel system is over pressurized and engine stops for safety reasons. Immobilizer does not affect the engine operation, just prevents starting, in case of theft. |
