whats going on with this manifold, that its bigger than the manifold on the earlier 2.8's? this is from a 2001 2.8td, according to the seller on ebay. and this is the earlier one on mine i think i may have asked this before, but are the later engines the same block? i know toyota refines its blocks over time, adding common rail etc., but still using essentially the same block, such as the 1kz-t, 1kz-te and 1kd-ftv engines. the 1hz, 1pz, 1hd-t, 1hd-te, 1hd-fte also all share the same block. are Iveco similar? wondering what will and what wont bolt on from the later, more powerful engines Edited by Ned, Nov 27 2012, 04:36 PM.

Hi, First picture is the intake manifold and exhaust manifold in the second picture. Iveco has used the same engine block until he replaced the 2.8L engine with the 3L engine, in 2004. |
