I have a 2007 35s10v (aglle) iveco daily here.

The problem is when i turn the iginition off the van doesnt stop the engine. By disconnecting the main fuse i can stall the engine but when i remove the iginition key once i reconnect it the dash doesnt turn off and all the instruments are still functioning.

My guess is that the main relay is defective, where is it located? The ignition switch i guess isnt the problem, i disconnected the connector but still the lights are on on the dash.

Have you recently fitted a new radio?
Or if you have a trailer socket, check for water intrusion.

Trailer socket was the issue, thanks for the advice!!! without you i would never find it, plug needs to be replaced by i know completely oxidized. Also our rear parking sensors are now working again, they were failing since a week or two. But know i removed the trailer socket they are also working again.

Thanks again!!!
