Hi I have a 2007 35s14 2.3 85000 kms and the edc warning light and then 149 appears and then goes in to limp mode I turn it of and then on, it then drives fine untill next time , some times it will do it three times on the trot and then fine for hour or so hopefully someone will know what it is and is it going to cause a problem while i still drive it as no one really knows what it is thanks nick |

Turbocharger not enough pressure.... The 2.3 has variable Geometry. This means the turbo is regulated by an underpressure stream. Sometimes the EGR valve (regulated with same underpressure) leaks a lot. Then the Turbo is not set right and gives not enough pressure. Edited by mkampstra, Jan 1 2013, 09:06 PM.
