Hi,
I have a 2002 Eurocargo 75e17 tector horsebox.
Last 2 weeks alternator fault warning light on most of the time, occasionally flickers off.
With engine running battery voltage 24V.
Have managed to run around last 2 weeks with frequent start/stops and battery voltage still 24V.
Any advice appreciated.

Where is it possible to get suitable manual for engine / wiring etc.

Thanks in advance.

hi there

I would recommend you to check the wiring.
On the alternator (generator), you should have a connector with 3 wires.
2 of them are red and the 3'rd one is green.
On one of the red wires you should have a + (30) (24 volts when the ignition key is off)
on the green one you have to have a + (15) (24 volts, when the ignition key is on)
and the 3'rd one is the wire which leads to the control lamp (or cluster)
check these 3 wires, and if they are all right, then the problem is in my opinion in the alternator.....

I did have the same problem, you will find there is a break in one of the wires within a foot of the alternator.
