no plate light

35c12 2007 tw luton van,i noticed i had a n/s rear no plate bulb gone so i tried fitting a new one,the new bulb lit up then after 2-3 seconds both no plate bulbs went out,turn lights off then turn back on both no plate lights come on then 2-3 seconds later both go out,any brain surgeons out there please help :'(

probably wrong lamps fitted, so canbus switches them off...

Hi,

The lights are managed electronically by the body electronic unit. If you install a new bulb that has other values, eg: different power, the electronic unit that will cut off the bulb.
It is possible that you have installed a 10W bulb instead of 5W, or if the bulb has two filaments, maybe you've installed at 180 degrees.

bazil you were absolutely right,ihad fitted a 10w bulb instead of a 5w bulb everything ok now, ;) thanks again
