I'd like to change the direction indicator settings so that I can cancel them manually; I don't want the auto-setting. It's an Iveco Daily 35CD. |

I suspect its mechanical in the steering column, so you would need to remove whatever actuates the auto cancel from within/around the column. If you succeed, take a few pics for the benefit of the forum

Thanks for this. I don't think I explained it well enough. It's the set up for motorway driving so that you just hit the indicator stalk and it blinks 3 or 4 times that I want to get rid off. For single track roads, it's hopeless if you want to indicate to someone behind you that you're pulling in to the side to let them past. It's not the bit that relates to turning the steering wheel. I don't think it's mechanical but computer programming. I want to make the indicators entirely mechanical. |

Yep, take your point. Hand signals work - and are more friendly too! Mind you, the weather right now isn't encouraging to sticking arms out of windows!
