Started installing the overhead console today

see here for parts list
http://z6.ifrm.com/4812/70/0/p1024161/Overhead.pdf

i bought 3803694, bracket

it came with overhead console, light, 2x visors

it does not come with any screws, or items 4, 5, 6 or 7

you will need to cut into the fabric to locate fixing pointsalong the bottom there are 4x holes needed for the clips, and 4x holes for the screws / bolts. all holes in metal were already there, just needed exposed

at the far sides, there is nothing to fix them to - looking at the pics from Sudesh, it appears as though the fabric roof is a different shape

also, it doesnt fully over hole from existing light

some pics

the centre support clip, bit awkward to get out - there is a screw through the centre, then lever it out

some of the holes cut out

there is no fixing hole nearby for this end - i used a M6x50 bolt on the LHS, but on the RHS there is no hole, so a cable tie was used

almost done

end of the day - going to cable tie the sun visor supports in place until the proper parts arrive

Well done Andy! Good write up for anyone interested in purchasing.

And yes you right, the roof lining in mine is different, as my van was specked from new with the console, I guess all those changes are made then.
