Hi Everyone. Am trying to change the bulb on my side stalk indicator just behind driver's door. The whole stalk unbolts from the wheelarch but I still can't get the bulb out from inside as the stalk is about 8" long.
Handbook is pretty useless as it seems to be for an earlier model (mine's late 2003, new front) and says to unscrew the orange end cover and shows it as round. The one on mine is more diamond shape and appears to be fixed and not detachable or unscrewable. Must be an easy way I know but I can't fathom it. Any advice welcome, thanks.

The ones with the screws are the latest type , once your style of lamp is unbolted you should be able to twist the build holder and take the bulb holder out to replace the bulb on the later models with this type the holder came out with the lamp still bolted on . A quicker way we used was to lever the lens off replace the bulb then glue the lens back on as the bolts holding the lamp on seldom came undone .

Thanks Troglodyte, I'll try levering off the lens cover as, like you say, the bolts onto the mudguard aren't great and it's only holding on one anyway.
