I'm thinking of replacing the exhaust box, noticed the tail trim is looking a little shabby now and getting soft/rusty. So wondering has anyone went with a stainless system or just stick with OEM? |

Try Dees in newtownabbey. They have made great stainless systems for a variety of motors. |

Thanks for that, bit of a drive away for me but could call in sometimes I'm up that direction. However, called into a local custom exhaust place today, the guy that looked at my van mentioned that the back box was very large, and that they don't have anything that size as they mostly work with cars, but he did say he could put 2 smaller straight through boxes on to make up te size, all done in stainless with lifetime gaurantee. I'm just curious now if there would be any drawbacks of doing this? Would it affect the running of the van in any way? or cause and implications with the DPF system etc? |

if flow and back pressure not right then can impact performance and DPF regeneration. I am told for a landrover the DPF gives issue with a straight through high flow box. Where you based? Edited by v6cosworthrangerover, Feb 26 2013, 08:50 PM.
