hi everyone and first i must start by saying thank you. this is my first post and new to the forum but it seems there are some very helpfull members on here.
i own a 52 plate 75e15, which was a box lorry and now has a recovery body and hiab fitted to it. i got the lorry back and found that clutch was sleeping so replace that and all is good now. but the change from box to recovery has taken about a year as only been building the body in my spare time.

so my first prob that has come up is the abs light and the hand brake light(i think or could be pad sensor) come on and stay on ? as it now needs to go for m.o.t this has to be sorted asap.

the other is 3 blink codes in now as i don't know what they mean it could be with diconecting the batteries ? the codes are 93,63 and 28 not sure if these are related to the abs or if the edc button does any thing with the abs system?

so please can some one give me some places to start or is it a plug in job??
many thanks paul

HI,

2.8 Heated filter control relay

6.3 Engine speed signal feasibility

9.3 Communications with Immobilizer

Those defects appeared, most likely due to start attempts with low battery.
Try to delete the error codes as follows: remove the ignition key, press the test button and hold it down, insert the key in the ignition and turn it on, after 4-8 seconds, release the button.

Warning lights: you will find in the download section, a document about it.
http://ivecoforums.com/topic/1105885/1/ # new.

The ABS most common defects are the broken sensor wires, do a visual check, then measure the sensor wires. The measurement is done with an ohmmeter, starting from the ABS ECU to the sensors. The wires in the ECU connectors are orange with codes from 5570 to 5573. For example, the front left sensor has two orange wires, both with code 5570, the front right sensor 5571, rear left sensor 5572, etc. ...
Measured resistance should be between 1 and 2 KOhm.

right blink codes all sorted now thank you. brake pipes replaced and all bleed. so just this abs light that is still giving me probs. were is the abs ecu to check these resistance ? is it the one strapped to the engine on the n/s ? i have cleaned all rings up? also if the fault is fixed will it clear itself or does it have to be pluged up ?

i am starting to pull my hair out(haven't got a lot as it is)

fault traced back to a throw switch on the first comp/chamber behind the batteries.
