Well it has to be said that a Monkey could have designed it better imho. Anyhow I want to replace the indicator bulb on the N/S mirror, seing as there appeared to be a small gap between the clear plastic cover and the mirror shroud I gently prised it open. Wrong move clear cover cracked off, well it came off clean so I should be able to superglue it back again. So it looks like I need to take the lower convexed mirror out to gain access to the bulb.Ok, so how do I go about that without further damage? Thanks |

I think you heat the lower mirror with a hair dryer or similar to soften the adhesive, and then use a suction cup (like for handling glass) to gently pull it off. I'm sure someone will confirm this is correct shortly... |

There's a good description in the forums here: http://ivecoforums.com/topic/8736663/1 For some reason the search tool on the website didn't find it... Careful with the mirror glass - it's really thin and easy to break. Let us know how you get on

Thanks guy`s the link worked ok. Well as I cannot seem to find any specific tool out there I will give it a go with the suction plate for the SatNav. |
