My eurocargo 100 el 21 year 2004 6 cyl. 5885cc euro 3 is making a lot of smoke from exhaust whet it runs idle or in low load, it have been tested by Iveco and they foung everything in perfect condition, they can see the smoke, but they cant tell me what repairs to do to solve the problem,
the car has runned 414000 km without problems, does anyone have an idea, my own guess is to change the injectors, does anyone have the Iveco part number ? or a better idea to solve the problem ?

Hi,

The smoke is created due to improper combustion, this can happen for several reasons. The smoke color may indicate approximately the cause.
If the smoke is black, you can think of over fuel caused usually by worn injectors.
The injector status can be checked on the test bench, or even on engine through his exclusion from the fuel circuit by blocking the supply pipe.
Given the mileage, it is possible that all injectors to be used, more or less.
The best way to purchase parts is done by VIN number, so it is best to contact Vexi.com, or another dealer.
