Well... My 07 stralis has got an adblue pump problem.. i lost engine power today with an ecm fault (in the middle of a roundabout)! .. A main dealer had a quick look, the graph on his laptop showed low presure from pump.. ive changed the main filter, cleaned out the little inlet filters but still no noise coming from the pump?! Is there a fuse at all or has anyone had any wiring problems? Strange as no fault codes... anyone shed any light? seems one problem after another Danny |

Hi, Any test done with diagnostic tool can be saved or printed, in future it would be useful to post them. The guys at the dealership are obliged to provide your the test results printed, or saved in txt, or pdf. The AdBlue pump motor is stepping type, so it may not be heard when it works and is controlled by the pump module ECU. The pressure created by the pump is controlled by two solenoid: coolant control valve and reverting valve. Usually, one of these solenoid. fails. Also, it can fail the dosing valve, or the AdBlue suction pipe from tank. |
