they is a low pressure pump in the chassis rail on the n/s, but what you need to do is unclip a pipe at the fuel filter head, get someone to switch the ignition on to check if you are getting fuel up there, if not check the fuse bellow the glove box, it is fused but sorry cant remember which one

will only get power to the pump for about 8 seconds when you 1st put the ignition on until it builds up enough supply pressure to the high pressure pump, then cuts in and out as the vehicle is running. it would be very hard to test for a voltage at the injectors also because it is not running. is they any loghts flashing as you crank or with just the ignition on?

You should be able to feel the pump running briefly when the ignition is switched on.

if they is a present fault the light will remain on or flashing for about 5 seconds after ignition is off, you need to get the wiring checked down to the electric pump in the chassis, you could put a contant 12v feed to it (pump does have a + and - on it), do it for a short while just to see if you can get running, dont leave it with a contant feed for to long though.
