Bit of a simple question this one, I have got to replace the fuel filter on my 2004 29L10, can I just unscrew it and swap? Does the system have to be primed or bled, or will the electric pump do it all for me. Cheers |

Best thing to do take van out for a run get it up to normal temp buy a little diesel in a can then unscrew the old filter plenty of rags under it to catch spillage get you new filter use the diesel you bought an fill the new filter as much as possible put back on start up applying plenty of revs for a few mins then it's done no need for priming i've used this method for years never once had to prime or bleed any vehicle i've done hope this helps
