HI there im after a bit of help. ive a daily crewcab tipper hpi the problem is it starts on the button from cold ,soon as its warmed up its a pain to start. it will start after about 5 seconds turning over but there is an injector light flashing and it runs in limp mode . also no rev counter can anybody help please |

I had something very similar to this, turned out to be a faulty regulator unit in the alternator (available on aution site) a very easy job and a total cost of less than £30. Get your battery fully charged and get a charging test done, duff battery/alternator will give you loads of weird electric "faults" Also I had difficulty starting when warm/hot, not turning over very fast as if its got a flat battery, turned out the starter motor itself was duff, (you will hear like a cracking sound and the motor will be very hot!!) So in all it cost me £150 (fitted and checked myself) the van now starts every time. |
