Sounds like air in the system, have you change the fluid lately? If you haven't done a brake fluid change try that you should do it every 2 years anyway. I have a VW transporter 4 motion and brakes are incredible hard to bleed and get all the air out after doing any brake work and it will function normally until you apply high pressure and pedal drops a bit. |

Hi is it losing fluid i.e. fluid level dropping ? does it lose pressure with engine switched off or just when its running ? Do the brakes feel feel OK / responsive on the road when driving normally ?r Aidan |

All of our gen 3 and gen 4 Dailies do this. If you hold your foot on the pedal hard, the pedal slowly sinks. |

If the van stops fine with a firm pedal, its probably OK. Its fairly common for the pedal to slowly sink if you stand on it hard. If you notice it sinking during normal use then you are right be investigating it. |
