Hi. Air in the pipes will make the pedal "spongy" as the air is compressed, It will not make the pedal go down if you hold a constant pressure on the pedal. There are only two things that will allow the pedal to creep down under constant pressure, 1 A fluid leak somewhere, which would show up as a leak or as the brake fluid level going down over time, 2 A faulty Brake Master Cylinder that is allowing fluid past the internal seals but not leaking externally. the only other possible cause is the rear brake load sensing valve is slowly letting the fluid through to the back brakes, this is not necessarily a fault just something that happens. Hi did you cure your brake problem ? ,im having a similar problem my pedal also goes to the floor but doesnt do it every time ,when it does do it if you press the pedal again its fine as though the discs are warped and pushing the pistons back, i have fitted a second hand master cyl and servo that i have but this made no difference ,any one else got any ideas please ,, |
