Hi there, I have a 2004 van with the 2.8 EDC engine. Friday whilst travelling, the injector/EDC red light came on and the van stopped and wouldn't start. There was evidence of a diesel leak underneath and two mechanics, one an Iveco specialist, have both suggest a stuck injector as the most likely suspect (both phone consultations). Has anyone else had this problem and was that the fault? If not any other suggestions? The fuel leaking seemed to light up the idea bulb in both people I consulted for it to be the injector. I'm hoping to get diagnostics on it on Tuesday. Where have you found the best place for injector replacement in terms of supplier. Thanks Lee |

First question - Where is the diesel leaking from? Out of the exhaust? From a split pipe? From the rail? Can't go any further until the leak is identified. Them Bosch 002 injectors are £100 each, so its best to identify/prove the fault first before changing parts out. Edited by cieranc, May 12 2014, 12:18 PM.
