Hi All, My Daughter has purchased a 2003 box van. 35C12 HPI. I am uncertain that the brake pipes into the load proportioning valve are correctly connected. The main pipe from the master cylinder is connected into the small (lower) connector of the valve. The larger (upper) connection leads to the rear brakes. I have studied a diagram in a manual which shows the larger connection leading to the rear axle as ours does but the large and small inlets on the valve are reversed i.e. the larger connection is shown as the lower connection. Questions.... Is the diagram wrong? Is my daughters vehicle connected up incorrectly? or Doesn't it not matter which way round the valve is connected? Considering its function it seems unlikely not to matter. Kindest regards Chris G |

How the brakes perform? If they work and stop the vehicle effectively, then it should answer your question? |
