Central locking has become intermittent since replacing the sliding door handle, all the guts are the same, it works on the key, I wondered if there was something I could do?? |

Hi, I can't really think of anything related with changing the handle mechanism which would cause this problem, the normal suspects may apply but seem unlikely,(Faulty mechanism, damaged wiring, dodgy terminal connections etc). However our daily suffers from corrosion on the body/door contacts, every few months a good clean with 600 emery paper does the trick, the symptom is exactly as you describe, worth a try as a possible easy fix.
