I have changed the engine on Iveco daily 35c15-54 reg.-2.3 are any parts coded to the ecu.... Would the key transponder have to be coded to the new engine Any help would be appreciated |

Hi, 35C15 should have a 2.8 L engine, replaced with a 2.3 l engine involves replacing engine ecu + Immobilizer ecu + keys. Some electrical incompatibilities also can occur. |

Thnx for your reply, they did change from 2.8to2.3onthis model and the previous engine was a 2.3 I also need to know if any other parts such as injectors need to be coded Thnx |

Injectors code is actually a hydraulic tolerance that injectors have. Some injectors can "flow" more or less than others, although they are manufactured with great precision. According to these codes, EDC will make corrections to the injection time and pressure to balance the cylinders, and making the engine run smoothly with the lowest fuel consumption possible. This coding is done only to Daily starting from the fourth generation. |

But to clarify - the injector coding is like a real fine tuning, the engine will still run without them coded in, and you wouldn't notice the difference. Of course, it is best to have them classified/coded. The 2.8 gen3 injectors (part number ends in 002) are not coded. The Euro3 3.0 gen3 injectors (end in 112) are not either. But the Euro4 gen4 3.0 injectors are. |
