Close to finishing my beavertail but I'm a little unsure about the need for mudguards, there doesn't appear to be a consistency regarding if they are required or not for MOT test.![]() This is how it looks at the moment, any views?? Cheers |

Hi with regards to MOT:-3.5 tonne or less GVW mud wings NOT tested in C7 MOT, If Over 3.5 t HGV test requires mud wings. Just because it is not and MOT issue does not mean it is automatically legal e,g. under 3.5 to may be required for constructions and use. Simlar issue as side marker lamps, not required for C7 MOT but still a legal requirement. I thought new coach build bodies (if not type approved) had to have SVI now? (single vehicle approval) |
