Hello. First Iveco, first post first day first fault!
Bottom idler pulley disintegrated on the way home. It's a 2004 2.3 without air con. Shall I buy a new pulley from main dealer or will eBay be okay? Can anybody point me in the direction of a good cheap one?

Cheers

Sean

35C12 2005 MWB DRW 3rd gen’ crew cab tipper F1AE04 85.3 kw 2.3 cc 16v EDC 16.

You'll need to know which engine you've got and which pulley you refer to.

I've managed to order the pulley with bearing on it's own. How does it adjust itself? It just seems to be spring loaded.

Works like a rear mech Deveron...just constant spring pressure. Once fitted, to change the belt you put a socket/ratchet on it which allows you to push down and release the tension momentarily. Three handed job to get the belt on whilst holding the tension off :)

Ok, it turns out I ordered the top idler pulley instead. I have a 2004 35S12 2.3. I really need to know what the part number is for a new tensioner with pulley. Can anyone point me to the correct item please?
