Opening windows for rear doors. Does they exist?
I converted my Daily in a camper van. We where in Germany yesterday and the weather was extremely hot (for northern European standards :) )
Sleeping was nearly impossible. We where parked just in the street, so leaving the doors open was not a option.
So we thought of windows we could open? Preferably on the rear end ( sleeping area).

What about going for sky light, its a more secure option, see others for details ! tidy looking van.

I have a skylight fitted, but it's not nearly enough to create enough airflow to cool the van down at night.
Maybe I should fit 2 or 3 more?

Hi Peter,

the onl way I can see to get opening windows in the rear doors would to cut out the glass wich I guess to be only glued in and glue in a sheet metal frame instead of the glass. The sheet metalframe can be fitted with any window such as the dometic or a bulls eye type like used on boats.

Only one skylight is by far not enough for sufficiant venting.
On my Camper I've got twi skylights as well as large dometic windows in the sliding door and opposite. Even than it's hard to get some breeze in the van under the recent conditions
