I need to order a low pressure fuel pump for my 2002 35s11. I can only find one for a 92kw model and mines 78kw. Will this matter? |

35C12 2005 MWB DRW 3rd gen’ crew cab tipper F1AE04 85.3 kw 2.3 cc 16v EDC 16. Is it this one? https://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_iveco_daily_low_pressure_pump_f_93828642_c_1307.htm Is this the one you refer to? http://www.auto-sensors.co.uk/iveco-daily-diesel-fuel-pump-1999-to-2004-640-p.asp Another one or two. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Meat-Doria-Electric-Fuel-Pump-Low-Pressure-Iveco-Daily-78-On-Ford-Mondeo-00-07-/351178049662 Looks like there's a variety of them (type/prices) and high pressure pumps. From Wikipedia: Originally there were model with three engine options, all of type 8140 of 2.8 liters. A variant was a suction diesel with 66 kW (90 hp), but they rarely sold. Another had turbocharger, intercooler and 78 kW (106 hp). The last variant gave 92 kW (125 hp) and had common rail injection. Shortly after receiving the largest engine variable geometry turbocharger and an output of 107 kW (146 hp). In 2003 came F1A engine with 2.3 liter stroke volume and second-generation common rail injection with 74 kW (101 hp) and 88 kW (120 hp), and in 2004 came the new F1C engine of 3.0 liters, based on F1A with timing chain and 100 kW (136 hp) or 122 kW (166 hp). At this time, the old 8140-engine was completely replaced. (Edited (Some time later after posting the reply) I have found there are 3 types of F1A engines the info' is in a F1A wrkshp ml pdf 71kw 96hp, 85kw 116hp, 100kw 136hp - F1AEO481 A, F1AEO481 B, F1AEO481 M. This info' is not the same as is in Wikipedia.) Seems that yours is an 8140 type engine. It also seems that my 2.3 F1A of which there are two types is either 74kw or 88 kw and not 85.3 kw. I hoped to find some info' re the lift pump but didn't find much. Iveco also call the low pressure pump the Electrical supply pump. If I remember correctly some time ago I found they had 3 names for the low pressure pump. There is the lift pump or low pressure pump at the fuel tank and another low pressure pump (which is a higher pressure pump) integral with the high pressure pump housing. Depends on how one names/looks at it all. Whatever description is given there are three fuel pumps for the F1A engine common rail fuel system. In the 70s most engines had two pumps: The low pressure lift pump sucked the fuel up from the diesel tank and pumped the fuel up to the high pressure injector pump the high pressure injector pump pumped the fuel to the injectors. Another edit. This is from a wrkshp ml pdf . F1A engine is 2.3 ltr. F1C 2.998 ltr. 8140XX of which there are several types 2.8 ltr. The hp varies from 88 to 141/150. 8140.43C.4 ID/TCA 2.8 ltr. 8140.63.4 PC/NA 2.8 ltr. There are engines with electronic high pressure injection system 8140.43R.43XX/44XX--------.43B.43XX/44XX --------.43S.41XX------ .43S.43XX/44XX------------.43N.43XX/44XX and: Engines with rotary mechanical injection pump 8140.43C.43 XX and 8140.63.40 XX. So you may need to know which engine you've got to get the right thing for it. Edited by ivecofd, Aug 19 2015, 10:38 AM.
