hi guys i recently had a problem with my 35c12 2.3 pickup which i could not get going so i scrapping it in.

i now have an issue with my panel van with the same 2.3 engine basically the injector light is flashing and the van looses power sometimes like will struggle on the motorway will drop down to 60mph flat out but will usually pick its feet up again after a bit.

i can live with the above but it also cuts out sometimes randomly and then is a pig to get going. well ive just got it going again by towing it now the injector light has disappeared but will probably come back on agian soon.

as i scrapped the other van in i have all the parts so i would appreciate it if someone could take a guess at what part i need to replace with the above symptoms.

thanks in advanced

I had a similar problem with a VW. It was an almost completely blocked fuel filter. So I would check whole fuel supply system back to the tank.

change fuel pump next to the reservoir
your car will run without it works but doesn't get enough fuel in the system to have power when revving
