Clutch rod keeps popping off pedal arm

The previous owner obviously bodged it by hammering the ball-ended rod out of the clutch pedal arm about 10mm so I'm going to have to do the same to get me home! Grrrrr.

Anyway, I suppose it's new clutch slave cylinder time. Anyone got the part number handy? Gonna have to get Vexi on the phone first thing. I want a new one so I can be certain it's in excellent condition and the socket on the end of the piston is not worn out as well.

Does the master cylinder just 'twist out'? I've just replaced my pedal box (the clutch pedal switch holder had snapped off - need to get all sorted for cruise control to be fitted!) and removed my clutch master cylinder by undoing the metal clamp on the cab side of the pedal box. I want to save myself some grief as I'm working on my own...

I had to buy a new master cylinder and assembly. Yes, it just twists out! And twists in. The only difficult bit is getting to the rear top 10mm bolt head on the actuator piston. Other than that, went smoothly. A tip for installation: Feed the reservoir end up from the bottom, don't try forcing the actuator down from the top of the engine bay.
