Hi
chassis cab I am re furbing at the moment , its on a sorn, just passed MOT, it has EBD and ABS but the traction control isnt working, I would like to fix it before I re body truck, anyone got a TEXA local to me they could plug in ? I am just outside Southampton(England!) it is a 2006 35c14 mk3.
according to Hendies who kindly looked up original spec it was sold with ABS EBD.
it has the ABS8 sticker on door frame.
any advice appreciated as the traction control is an absolute boon to me as go "off road" often.
Cheers

Are you sure it has traction control,as EBD is electronic brake distribution which as far as I can see means you don't need or have the rear brake load sensing valve to get rusted up. I have a 35-12 with abs and ebd and deffo does not have traction control.

Thanks for the reply Gary, I understand what you are saying, but I also have a 50c, same thing abs and ebd, when its slippery on grass wheels just start to spin , ebd light flickers, brake applied and traction again, light out, away I go. its brilliant.
So I need to know if TC isnt set up on 35c what do I need to enable it, it has all the sensors abs etc so surely either it needs enabling via computer or possibly differant abs module ?
Its really usefull to me otherwise wouldnt bother.
In winter slush ect, also its a total winner, where everyone else is pulled over I just carry on.
cheers.
