Whenever I switch off the engine (F1C) of my 2006 Daily 35S17, there is a whining/wheezy noise for about a half minute or so after the engine stopped running, then the noise gets quieter and maybe increases in frequency (higher whining) until it disappears. I have not been able to track the origine of this noise, and so far it doesn't seem to do no harm. But what can it be? Someone who has observed the same phenomenon? Someone who knows? |

I thought about that....would that be a problem? Is it normal to hear it? |

Wouldn't have thought its the turbo, they wear out very quickly if they are spinning without oil pressure, which is why you are not meant to blip the throttle before turning off the engine. If its very quiet, could be excess pressure from the coolant reservoir, air being drawn past the filler cap if the fuel tank is at a slight vacuum? |
