My 2005 35s12 caught on fire; Need the paint code for the new 35s12.

Hard to believe but my 2005 Daily 35s12 MWB with only 82k miles on it, caught fire and is now a write off. Don't know what caused it, electrical fault I would think.

Nobody was hurt that's the main thing and being a glutton for punishment I've bought another one, same type and year but this has done 120k.

This ones blue in colour and the paints peeling here and there so need some spray paint. Can anyone help please with where I can find the paint code on the Daily.

Guy I bought it off said he thought it needed new brake cables. I took it into my mechanic and have just spent £750.00 on having the new brake cables fitted along with OSR and NSR, new discs, new calipers, new brake pads. He also welded a new steel plate nearly the full length of the floor beneath the sliding door and on the OSR rear wheel arch as well. Just as well it's been done now before it gets any worse.

Great job! Thoroughly recommend them for work you don't want to do yourself. So if your in or near Herts or Bucks. T. A. Lingard Motors, Berkhampsted. They now do group 7 MOTs as well.

I have taken out the old ply lining and am going to have a new lot fitted. Does anyone know of a good place to have this done in or around the Buckinghamshire area? Before I do this though I've got to fill some screw holes in the floor and make good here and there as well. Cheers for now.

Is it the Omega security van light blue? I'm sure there was someone a while back trying to find a colour match, might be worth some more Googling. If its original paint (i.e. its blue inside the door shuts/under the ply lining, the paint code is often on a sticker on the inside of the nearside wing, (behind the radio aerial)

I couldn't find mine when I looked but found it at a later date when doing some maintenance.

Thanks Spooky_b329,

Have had a look on the inner NS wing and there is a sticker but there's no paint code on it. Guess I'll just have to get some paint mixed for the job instead.
