59 12 rear shoe warning lights

Hi folks i have just fitted rear shoes with out the warning wires to plug,so the lights on dash show up ,can i put a bridge wire across the plug at back axle to put light out.
Its a 59 12 model 2.8 turbo with no engine brain,made 1997 first reg 2000.

You could try it the worst that could happen is to blow a fuse. I did think that the wear sensors turned the light on when they were worn down enough to earth them .....Maybe someone can confirm.

No worn shoes cut the wire as its a loop,i joined the loop with a bit of wire and the dash lights went out so now it passed mot happy days.

I just changed the rear pads because the light came on.
When i got into change the pads there was bugger all wrong with them. Changed the pads anyway and the light still comes on......PITA

Must be a broken wire/relay somewhere, anyone know if there is a relay somewhere?

There is a relay for brake wear sensors and low fluid level. It is a circuit and a break in it will put the light on.
